Earth Art Hour Ritz-Carlton, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta

As we know that on March 29, we’re celebrating Earth Hour when we’re enjoy the light off for 60 minutes to appreciate the mother of earth.

I got invited from Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan, Jakarta to join an event called “Earth Art Hour” Saturday, March 29.

Their PR told to bring friends or family, so I came with my sister. We’re arrived 1 hour early, we’re decide to have Starbucks in Oakwood after that we walked to Ritz-Carlton which is not so far. When we’re arrived at the lobby, there’re candles, 6 paint white canvas waiting for some colour, foods and drinks..

As the MC start the show, the lights turns off. There’re few candles and yellow light on so we’re not totally in the dark while eating and watching the painter start to paint. They’re also made a nice candle decor, a number of 60 at downstair. It’s really pretty and romantic actually hahahaha..

There’re 6 artists (5 man and 1 woman) that chosen by Melborne-based art curator. Radhinal Indra, Sarita Ibnoe, Tampan Destawan, Bobbyama Agam, Udadias and Aditya Fachrizal Hafiz. Each of them will paint something with earth elements. 

Even one of them gave us curious show by painting his body with green color and print it on his white canvas.

Foods & Drinks

People start eating when the lights switch off, lots of complimenting earth-themed food and drinks that incorporate earth colors and concept specially crafted by their award winning culinary team. . There’re various type of satay, drinks, and desserts. Green tea macaron, Sate Udang, Sate Lilit Bali (ahhh I miss this so much), Sate Ayam, Sate Kambing, Wedang Jahe, Watermelon Soda something and many more.

Live acoustic choir

Oohhh i love music. Their live acoustic performances by environmentally supportive students and individuals. Singing Indonesian and English top hits songs. Really really good talent. Make the ambience much more relax and chill.

Lot of food blogger got invited too. This event is so nice and relaxing. Thank you Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan, Jakarta for having me to enjoy Earth Hour with a lovely event.
