3 Steps To Fix Broken/Cracked Eyeshadow/BlushOn

I learn a lot after I made last DIY. When I want everything efficient for my eyeshadow collection. Few of eyeshadow broken so bad :( hiks.. I ever heard about this method, finally I’ve got a ‘chance’ to do it. What you need are toothpick or ice cream stick and Alcohol 70% 

Three amazing step are ...
1. Here’s my broken NYX Single eyeshadow in Deep Purple.
2. Crush the eyeshadow into a powder.
3. Give fewa drop of alcohol and mix it until it resembles a paste.
4. Stuff the eyeshadow paste back into the pan

And whoilla!! Although the results not neatly as previous, at least it’s not powdery anymore. Alcohol 70% will evaporated so it is safe for our eyes and the eyeshadow pigment are not changing at all, Yayyy!!

How To Depotting Eyeshadow/BlushOn/Bronzer to MakeUp palette

Continue from previous post, after I made makeup palette I will show you how to put eyeshadow, blush on or bronzer to makeup palette with or without magnet.

Here is what you need : scissor, cutter, magnet sheet, doubletape, tack-it [look like bubble gum, with brand like Faber Castell or Bantex if you using it you can still remove eyeshadow easily to anywhere on the palette, and also remove tack-it is very easily. You can buy it in stationery store], acetone or alcohol.

  
1. Take off eyeshadow pan from the packaging, in here i’m using cutter. Be careful!! From my experience, the cutter will broke if the glueis too strong at the pan :( and sometimes you’re hit the eyeshadow powder.
2. If eyeshadow pan is separated from its place, check the back of the pan. Is the glue dry or wet.
3. If wet, use acetone or alcohol to facilitate cleaning the residual glue.
4. Use double-sided tape if you do not use magnetic sheets ['re done! Done!]
5. If you are using a magnetic sheet, magnetic pieces not too small / big.
6. Glue the magnets that have been cut into the eyeshadow pan using doubletape
7. Make sure the magnet facing forward.
8. You’re done :)

DIY Makeup Palette from Wedding Invitation Card/Cardboard with/without magnet sheet

Here is another Do It Yourself by reuse/recycle other unused item such wedding card invitation especially with cardboard inside it. Don’t throw it! The cardboard inside are very useful :) You don't have to buy another cardboard.

For that I also made video how to do it, I speak with Bahasa Indonesia and add English subtitle. You can watching it in here :

What we need are :

1. Wedding card invitation or cardboard

2. Lem FOX - I used PVAc glue

3. Asturo sticker paper [Rp. 6000 – Rp.8000] / duct tape ~ selotip bermotif / wrapping paper [I recommended wrapping paper brand Eco greeting, price Rp. 5000,-]

4. Stick ice cream

5. Ruler, pencil, scissor, cutter

6. Magnet sheet 

7. Doubletape

8. Impraboard small size [Rp. 15.000,-]

Cardboard

1. Rip off the paper from the cardboard. If it's so hard, then let it be, as the paper will be cover with new paper.

2. You can cut the cardboard as the size as you want or keep it big or cut in to small size.

3. Measure 1 cm on side of each cardboard.

4. Cut that 1 cm from each cardboard.

5. Make sure that each cardboard has the same size.

Impraboard Frame

1. Copy the size of cardboard onto impraboard. The size of impraboard can be the same or smaller 0.5 cm than the cardboard size.

2. Cut impraboard to 2-4 pieces. Measure the high with eyeshadow pan. More high, more thick impraboard.

3. Cut inner part of impraboard. Leave 1 cm on each side.

4. The result will be look like photo frame.

Impraboard wrapping

1. Glue impraboard to the inner part of wrapping paper or you can use duct tape to wrap it.

2. Cut the inner part with X shape. As you can the result in the picture.

3. Cut the excess of paper and leave 1-2 cm.

4. Wrap the impraboard that look like photo frame neatly.

Wrapping Paper

1. On paper, measure 1 inch each side of it and then measure space between cardboard I with middle part is 0.5 cm and 0.5 cm between cardboard II and middle part. For sticker paper, give fold line to make it easier putting the cardboard.

2. Glue the carboard to paper/asturo sticker.

3. Wrap all the side of cardboard.

4. Cover the middle part with same paper or sticker. 

With/Without Magnet Sheet

1. Glue the 'frame' to cardboard. In this step, if you're not using magnet sheet, you can use doubletape or tack-it [look like bubble gum] to stick the eyeshadow to it.

2. If you're using magnet sheet then use doubletape to stick the magnet into the inside of makeup palette. Cut the magnet sheet as the same size of inner makeup palette. Don't forget to check which one is magneted and not.

D.I.Y Add Bling Item For Your Room

Add some bling-bling in your room. Easy and fast. I decided to add bling on to my watch because everyday I’ll look to it. All you need are an item in your room, rhinestone sticker [you can get it in craft/stationary/phone accessories store], scissor and tissue.

First, clean the surface of the item with tissue.

Second, measure the rhinestone on the item and then start cutting the rhinestone sticker, apply on to the item.

Very easy DIY right, you don’t need special skill. Even kid can do it too. Make a fun of it. Add some bling-bling to your mouse, mirror handle, desk lamp or stationary item. I like every I turn on the light and rhinestone shining ;)

Starlet Soft Contact Lenses in Fancy Violet / Purple

Big lenses, colorful and cheap. I’m new at color softlens world. I give it a try to this contact lenses that bought it in nearest optic store in 2012. Noted : all pictures were take in 2012. Hehe I just decided to do review now *facepalm*

My opinion, well I don’t have any complaint with it because my eyes not too sensitive and allergy at all, of course you still need few eye drops every 1 or 2 hour to re-wet the lenses and make sure every lenses are clean, rinse well. If you ever use this brand, you can share with me about it or recommend me other contact lenses :) I might trying other contact lenses like geo lenses or more famous brand but i want to go with dark lenses so it may applicable for work environment. No way I’ll go to work with green-fake-lenses.
