Durian Pancake – it is Durian

Well i know some people don’t like this exotic fruit. Sharp skin, smells strong, taste like feet etc. But i like it, my dad introducing this fruit to our family, turns out only me and Him like it very much. The mall i’m working at, sell many snacks and food. I saw this in underground floor,  in snack counter near Carrefour.

Pancake Durian IDR 5000,-/piece. The packaging is just ordinary plastic, on the label there’s direction if not consume within 1-1,5 hour, should be placing back in refrigerator.

The taste same like durian, the different is they already mixed with cream, yellow skin (i don’t know the ingredients) and they remove that big durian seeds. Eat while cold.  Taste ? fresh and Yum-Oooo...hahaha...

Izzi Pizza – Menteng, South Jakarta

I was craving for pizza but i’m bored with Pizza Hut. So, I try Izzi Pizza in Menteng, South Jakarta which is near from my working place. I came in evening at 18.00 PM,  there’s only few customer (a family and some teenager), not too crowded for Saturday night.

They’ve open kitchen decoration idea, build in two area (smoking area & non-smoking area), have that Cafe aura, and their employee wear very casual dresscode (t-shirt, jeans and converse shoes), a lot of them is older perhaps around 30 years old.

They don't have too much menu, it's a lot easier to choose. And they have Pizza cooking class for children.

I order ‘Beef&Izzi’ Pizza – Regular size (price IDR 90.000,-) and Cheese Doughball (i forgot the price,i think it’s about IDR 40.000). Why i order those menu? Because there’s ‘chef recommend’ logo in that name,hahahaha...simple,isn’t it. Yeah if i already confused what i’ve to choose, always..always choose the recommended one. Usually, they already did review from sales. For drink, i choose Zippy fruit&Herb tea - Chamomile Ice Tea.

The pizza is really great, a lot of melted cheese, i love it. Suggestion from me, if you hungry you better choose the large size,it’s because the pizza bread not too thick which is i love it. Yeah i always left the side of the bread if it’s too thick and always finish eat the topping,hihihi :)

Bakmi Soen-Yoe at Pasar Baru

There’s a another noodle restaurant beside ‘Bakmi Gang Kelinci’ in Pasar Baru-Jakarta. ‘Bakmi Soen-Yoe’, there’s two side of block in the middle Pasar baru. Bakmi GK in left side and Bakmi Soen-Ye in the right side. Everybody in Jakarta should tasted Bakmi GK, you can find it easily in Malls but if you want to try the original,then come to Pasar Baru. Because i’m bored eating Bakmi GK each time i go to Pasar baru, so i give it a try for other Bakmi/Noodle competitor in this area.

Bakmi Soen-Yoe have old decoration, smaller than Bakmi GK, there’s other menu if you don’t want eat noodle. I try their Hainam Rice with Pork&Salt Vegetable and Noodle with dumplings&mushroom.

I ever heard other opinion that the competitor Bakmi GK in Pasar Baru not to delicious, but from my opinion i like Bakmi Soen-Yoe food, what they offering to customer beside noodle and have that oriental taste and culture. Just come and give it a try.

KOI Teppanyaki - Mall Artha Gading, Jakarta

At first i was attracted with chef action, smoke , sounds of cooking, and smells. So i give it a try, this was in Mall Artha Gading-Jakarta Utara. Looks delicious.

Unfortunately, the size is o small for me, not enough to fulfill your stomach when you’re so damn hungry. I don’t want have it for my lunch.  I forgot which one i choose. Expensive for the amount of food. Entertaining for the way they cook.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo

Yes, they’re matte, not glossy or shine at all, very creamy and San Paulo is pretty deep pink, it’s so beautiful, i love it. It’ll gone easily if you touch or lick your lips. When i used this, I don’t pressed my up and bottom lip like i usually to do when I'm wearing a lipstick.

Tips : Do not wearing this if you have chapped or dry lips. It will showing how much your chapped lips obviously.

Fyi, San Paulo smells like strawberry milk hahaha smells nice for me, what do you think?. I’ll purchase another in neutral color for daily used. I still can’t figured out which one to buy,because each of them looks very pretty.

Sleek Blush : Pomegranate review

I heard this brand had very pigmented colour with reasonable price. I give it try to buy the eyeshadows and blush. I choose Sleek Blush in Pomegranate. It’s really ‘pome’ blush.

In my opinion,

Texture       : powdery, shimmer/sheen, and pigmented. 

Packaging   : Small packaging. Fragile. Black sleek gorgeous and expensive-look packaging. 

Using          : suitable for daily use, 1 slightly dab on brush. 

Availability  : Online 

Constant     : All day. Even when i’m sweating the color not wash out or gone on oily skin like my face. Very pigmented that’s why i only apply it one slightly dab for both cheek.

I love..love this blush on. It’s perfect for my tan/brown/olive skintone. It give nice glowy cheek and fresh look. Perfect blush for me and any one with brown/olive skin like me.

NYX Cream Blush : Glow & Natural

Ever trying blush in cream? Me? Never!. So i give it a try, my first cream blush is from NYX. NYX beauty product really famous with their options of color, pigmented, and cheap price. For this one,i choose Glow & Natural. Price ± IDR Rp. 70.000,- /pcs. Why i choose those color? Because i read some reviews that Glow is suit for brown/dark skin and can give that natural blushing cheek, and Natural is suitable for daily used.

This is how i used cream blush :

1. I recommend to use it after prime+foundation or don’t wear any foundie/face powder at all.

2. Tap blush/buffing brush or finger lightly on cream blush.

3. Apply it on cheekbone in circular motion, if you use finger like i do,don’t be to rush,it’ll heating your cheek.

4. Re-apply until you get the color that you want.

5. Instead using face powder, i used powder blush on it.

I have acne scar that looks like big pores, i’ve to reapply, it’ll be obviously seen if i’m not doing it correctly (not sinking enough to the pores). And i always add powder blush on it because cream blush easily washout especially in oily & sweat skin like me. If i want to look so natural, then i don’t add anything on it.

I only used it in daily,because when i’m wear it to special occasion that i’ve to that “left-right-cheek-kiss”, in Indonesia it means “cipika-cipiki” – cium pipi kanan-cium pipi kiri. This cream blush will easily gone. This product is great for beauty budget and also for beginner. Just give it a try.

Flyover Kampung melayu-Tanah Abang, South Jakarta

I worked in retail business about two years right now. Retail always familiar with mall. Yes, i’m working at mall. One of the old & famous mall in Kuningan - South Jakarta (yeah,you know that). When i was in high school, i always wondering what is it like working at mall? Hahaha..Here i am now. Later,I’ll tell you in another post about advantage and disadvantage working at mall.

It’s been two years since PT.WIKA-Jaya Kontruksi build flyover for route ‘Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang’ to prevent traffic in Mega Kuningan-Jakarta. Yupp,in front of the place i’m working at. It’s kinda disturbing sometimes. They cut off the trees,dust everywhere, concrete truck, noisy sounds and make customer traffic decreasing ± 10% into my store.

In front of the mall, there’s Bank Danamon Tower. Really love seeing skyscraper. But this flyover annoyed my eyes. Ruined the art of seeing skyscraper. As you can see in this bellow pic in 2010 the flyover not build yet. And in 2011,they starting to. In 2012, i saw it’s almost finish for the begining. Yep, they build in the centre first,and then spread to the other half.

I hope they don’t abandoned this flyover and finish it as soon as possible. So we can see, this flyover really work as their function to make Jakarta less traffic than before. I’ve to ‘Amin’ for that.
